Friends of the Dillon Ranger District
Project Description
Because FDRD relies so heavily on volunteers to accomplish its mission of keeping our National Forest lands maintained they needed a state-of-the-art web presence to not only inform the general public, but to secure volunteers and contributions. The new website, integrated with third party Sales Force components, was designed as a one-stop shop for donors, volunteers and current staff/employees.
Brand Strategy
Imagine That did an extensive branding process with FDRD to develop a cohesive look and feel of their marketing efforts. The branding process including a day-long discovery session where we flushed out FDRD's mission, target marget, competitive landscape and brand archetypes. After the branding process was complete, Imagine That worked closely with FDRD in developing a a modern version of their existing logo and other brand messages. Brand management SOPs were establshed to keep a consistent look and feel across all marketing ventures.
Logo and Print Design
In following with the SOPs developed during the branding process. Imagine That designed new business cards and other print materials to accurately reflect the new brand.
Web Design
The outcome of the branding session with FDRD resulted in a brand new look and feel for a revamped website. This custom designed site was built to accurately personify FDRD's brand, bringing its personality to life. Equipped with amazing outdoor imagery and a color scheme to match, the website aims to portray the rustic and active lifestyle so often equated with the Dillon Ranger District and the Rocky Mountains in general.
Since FDRD relies so heavily on volunteer help to accomplish their mission, the site includes a page where philanthropists can find out how to volunteer, check out a list of upcoming opportunities and stay up to date with FDRD. Easy access to donate funds and a page full of resources for the inquiring mind round out this brand new site.
Sales Force Integration
FDRD's previous site utilized the power of SalesForce.com's Customer Relations Management (CRM) tools as a database for newsletter signups, online calendar population and donation platform. It was imperative to FDRD that SalesForce.com remained a viable component of the new site as well, so Imagine That's developers worked closely with Sales Force representatives to assure a seamless integration.
Blog Integration
Imagine That's web developers created an on-site blog for FDRD's new website. In keeping with an SEO-friendly site, the on-site blog is a useful function for FDRD's staff as a place where they can post notifications on new events, other happenings and of course, resources for the Summit County community.

From the client...
"When we started working with Imagine That, we had an OK website but it wasn't meeting the true potential for our nonprofit in terms of communicating our mission to people unfamiliar with our work. Imagine That looked beyond our limitations and helped us create a website that captures the spirit of our organization and new possibilities. Imagine That offered a full team dedicated to our unique needs and we couldn't have been more pleased with the process and outcome."
