Imagine That is proud to announce the addition of Chris Morris to our Digital Marketing Team in the role of Digital Marketing Coordinator. Chris is originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, and arrives in Colorado after living in Costa Rica for the last 13 years. He is a new arrival to Summit County, happy to be in the mountains to raise his family in our perfect small town atmosphere.
Education and Experience
Chris received his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and his undergraduate degree from The University of New Mexico with a focus on engineering and fine art. He brings a combination of business acumen, creativity, and technical skills with 18 years of professional experience in a variety of industries including advertising, real estate, and software.
Role at Imagine That
Chris’s new role is to support Imagine That clients’ digital marketing initiatives. He supports strategies and implementation ranging from content development to campaign optimization. Chris’s technical expertise straddles the front-end/back-end divide as he is just as comfortable creating effective digital communication on one hand, and coding on the other.
When asked about what he hopes to bring to Imagine That, Chris says
“I’m excited to bring my enthusiasm and creative problem solving skills for outstanding service to successfully overcome the unique challenges faced by Colorado mountain businesses.”
Philanthropy
Chris spent two years volunteering with the U.S. Peace Corps, stationed in Costa Rica where he worked with a rural community development program. He assisted community organizations such as the town council, schools, and firefighters to become more effective in their missions and secure the resources needed to better provide their services. When asked what problem he wishes he could solve, Chris’s philanthropic nature comes through in his answer
“I would end human suffering.”
Personal Interests
Aside from his professional and academic pursuits, Chris enjoys spending time with his adorable 5-year-old son. He loves to be in the great outdoors hiking, biking and skiing. In his spare time, he enjoys learning about cutting edge technology, playing the guitar, and cooking. Because of the years he spent in Costa Rica, Chris is fluent in Spanish.
Our last question for Chris was about the most interesting thing he’d learned recently. His answer,
“The most interesting thing I've learned recently is that there are artificial intelligence machines producing more sophisticated artificial intelligence machines at a higher rate than is humanly possible.”
