April 29th, through May 5th, 2018, is National Small Business Week. It has been observed annually since 1963 by the US Small Business Administration highlighting the crucial economic role we all play. We are a proud community that has resisted imposing practices of big corporations that don’t provide local flavor. Celebrating small businesses and supporting our continued growth is a common objective of locals and visitors if we are to preserve the natural beauty we are surrounded by, and the vibrant mountain culture we are all a part of.
