Brian Richmond has over 11 years experience in the Project Management field. Brian began leading projects as a combat engineering officer in the U.S. Army. Inspired by this he obtained a B.S. Degree in IT Project Management. Since then he has continued to follow his passion of leading projects. Brian has led projects in several industries from manufacturing to logistics to IT. He has worked for both small and large corporations including State Farm Insurance, Co., a top Fortune 50 company. He enjoys taking a company’s needed project and turning it into reality. Brian is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) & Agile Certified Practioner (PMI-ACP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) through Scrum Alliance. With over 5 years experience with Primavera and MS Project he performs detailed budget, resource and schedule analysis to save the customer money, manage resources effectively, and keep the project on schedule. His experience also includes teaching Project Cost & Budget Management as an Adjunct Instructor.
Living the Life
Brian is married with two boys. His oldest is serving in the Air Force and is an avid hunter, and the younger is a certified CAD engineer and an avid drummer. In his free time Brian enjoys BBQ’ing & smoking foods, eating at Diners Drive-Ins’ Dives, (he has won several hot wing eating contests), skydiving, and fly-fishing.
