The guys at Imagine That never gave up on the stuff I wanted to do with the Music Features page. Complicated and technical audio streams for specific songs... were a must have on our site. They got the job done!

We created a custom look and feel for the Summit County Library Children’s pages. Careful design attention was given to appeal to the eyes of children. We envisioned and introduced Webster’s Backyard Friends –a host of friendly cartoon characters highlighted throughout the website. The result is a highly engaging children’s website that is fun to explore.
Erik Ulstad is the quintessential 21st Century Mountain Man! He's also an entrepreneur. Erik loves art, especially art that connects with the mountains and the mountain lifestyle in Summit County, Colorado. Erik has designed a variety of tapestries, etchings, signs and wall hangings for retail stores and hotels in mountain resort areas.
Erik came to Imagine That with his ideas and a name for his new company, Cold Smoke Cargo. He wanted us to help design his brand, his website and his online marketing plan.
As we got into Erik's project, it became quickly obvious that Erik was the brand. He wanted his brand message to convey fun, adventure and the mountain lifestyle. A brand needs to have a persona associated with it if it is to thrive online. The persona we gave Cold Smoke Cargo came from Erik himself, not his products. His brand message needed to convey an exclusive (but not elite) message: "This isn't for everybody, but if you love the mountains, outdoor recreation and being part of an exclusive community - this might be for you."
Once we settled on his brand message and image, we began work on his website. His site is still under construction and will be deployed in the spring of 2012. Keep an eye on this guy - you're going to hear a lot about him! As Erik says, "There's no app for authenticity."
Branding a company is more than just selecting colors and coming up with a logo. There are hours of research, meetings and questions that must be addressed before you can truly define a business's brand. It would have been easy to take the name, "Cold Smoke Cargo" and come up with something cliché for Erik. Had we done that, we would have completely missed the soul of Erik's business.
Because we took the time (and lots of it), Erik has a brand that accurately reflects the personality of his business as well as its name. This makes creating the rest of Erik's online presence much easier: we know who Cold Smoke Cargo is, and maybe more importantly, who it is not.
